I never had scratchy pot. Mine is butter smooth. So by changing the volume knob, it improves micro dynamics ? This is the most absurb thing I ever heard. Of course its so suppose to be flat and colourless similar to any transparent amp. By lifeless means lack of colouration, just get a warmer...

The answer is no. And I would not even call it 1-5% improvement, its 0% improvement. Proper volume matching is an important aspect as well.

Hello FiiO, would there be K10 Pro ? If so it could use alot of improvement in features. Maybe even introduce low z and high z ouput jacks.

The actually sound the same. You would just need to compare the features. And by the way, Okto dac8 measures better. But of course, nothing to do with sound quality. And Okta dac8 thread is not active aparently.

No even when you hear it, they all sound the same. With true a/b test, they sound the same. Everything proper volume matching.
