Graph-wise it does seem like a vocal-focused set. How does it compare with similar offerings like NG Audio Erebus/Aroma Jewel? This iem seems to be hyped in China, 'beating up' TOTLs as many claim.- nocturne19

Dear Watercoolers, Having attended the 2024 Shenzhen Hi-End Audio and Headphone exhibition over the past few days, I would like to share some of my personal highlights with you all :L3000: Source: LPGT AAW Canary Pro. I find it to occupy a warm U-shaped tuning. Different from iems that occupy...- nocturne19

The Brise Audio Japan Cable Thread
Not too sure with Fitear offerings, but from my experience with Naobi and Yatono I do hear a noticeble boost in technicalities, especially in resolution and soundstage width. You are accompanied with a darker background as well, which does favour to sensitive iems. To me the LE version will do...- nocturne19

I guess the only way is trial and error. I am personally more susceptible to 8k, while many folks here dislike too much 6k. I guess you can play around with eq, learning the basics of eq definitely elevated my experience in audio.- nocturne19

1. Subtonic Storm. Crazy that Subtonic had never entered the Chinese market. I mean, you can't find a SINGLE impression/review on chinese forums, given its popularity in the west. If they promoted in China guess 300 Storms could be sold at 10k within an hour. 2. Beat Audio Orbit Saga. Yes...- nocturne19

Interesting machine from Luxury n Precision
Thanks for the impressions! Do you find it portable? It looks pretty big. And do you know the expected price? I heard it is going for 20000Yuan (~2550USD).- nocturne19

I actually find them to reduce treble and smoothen treble peaks, but yeah I agree they smoothen things too much sometimes.- nocturne19

Vision Ears and Rhines Custom Monitors (formerly Compact Monitors)
Its been some time since I heard the EXT so I can't really comment on that; but from memory it sounds pretty warm to me, and is VERY power hungry: Still one of the most power-hungry iems till today, the opposite of Phonix, Aura and VEX which are considered pretty sensitive. I personally thought...- nocturne19

Vision Ears and Rhines Custom Monitors (formerly Compact Monitors)
Agree with the 16khz spike, an issue to me as well. Common phenomenon found in 64 iems - tia brought a wide stage, though with occasional spikes. Can't really regard it as a 'problem', guess we can only live with it. I agree with @Deezel177 comparison - jewel is more neutral, while notes float...- nocturne19

Vision Ears and Rhines Custom Monitors (formerly Compact Monitors)
I doubt if VEX is an upgrade of A12t. To me both have similar technicalities, just different in tuning. 12t is mild U-shaped, while VEX is warm neutral. VEX sounds more relaxed and has better bass slam, while A12t presents music in a more 'organized' way. And Phonix sounds pretty different from...- nocturne19

The Brise Audio Japan Cable Thread
Agree with @Anlan Dong on this one. To me cables are about preference, and synergy is the word I am looking for. If portability isn't a concern to you than Brise cables would even do more justice to you . Shiro is pretty supple, Yatono is soft yet stiff: Great sound, but got irritated over...- nocturne19
