They come off. Just need to apply some constant pressure because they are snug.

The Sony Hybrid tips are awesome. Pretty much none of the other tips I tried would fit in my ear with that huge tf10 bore.

If anyone is getting this and has the Sony PHA-1, I would love some comparisons between the two with the use of an iphone 5. :D

I've owned my westone 4r for half a year now - I love it. Finally decided to pick up a PHA1 to go with it. Looking to upgrade the cable next. :)

The w4r is 31 ohm.   I'm really on the fence about getting this used to use with my ip5 for about ~$280. Seems nicely priced and is compatible with the ip5.

Decided to upgrade from TF10s. Pulled the trigger on a pair of w4r's! Can't wait for them to arrive.
