For EQ on my PC, I tried Dolby Atmos...DTS...RazerTHX...FXSound.......any other recommendations I should try?

I tried to install that but it's not easy......I'm not a PC guy and hate messing with windows configs and folders. I grew up with mac OS which is way more intuitive. But my gaming is setup on a PC unfortunately.

Dolby Atmos & DTS - it sounds good with spatial surround features, and built into windows 11. RazerTHX - it sounds good with additional spatial surround features, separate app. FXSound - lacks spatial surround settings but free.

AirPod Max vs Sennheiser HD800s for AppleTV4K

Sound wise, AirPod Max via bluetooth sounds great with AppleTV4K, as it uses their Dolby Spatial features. However, it is not comfortable after 10 minutes. It's clampy and the "Closed Back" style fatigues my ears with air pressure effects. I went out and bought the most comfortable...

I will not pay $1k for phantom improvements

I paid $1700 for a sennheiser headphone and $900 for a dac/amp because it has features that other models didn't have. These are not so much Phantoms but actual use cases that applies to my listening needs.

My Advice on upgrading from a $300 wireless Steelseries to a $2,500 HD800s with Fiio K9 Pro Dac/Amp, to play Warzone 2…..

I like the concepts of RME eq and remote control. However I use Dolby Atmos spatial EQ on my PC or Razer THX spatial surround EQ, which are better for gaming. Fiio offers these features that RME lacks. -Bluetooth 5.0 which I need for apple TV. And it has a built in EQ in BT mode. -USB C port...

My Advice on upgrading from a $300 wireless Steelseries to a $2,500 HD800s with Fiio K9 Pro Dac/Amp, to play Warzone 2…..

Bad: It may not help you win gun fights much. The sound in Call of Duty is “broken” where sometimes you don’t hear other player’s footsteps. Also, cables suck. You cannot run off to go pee without risking tripping ripping cables. Good: The sound is soooo natural like as if you are there. The...

    Gamer that uses open backs

I’m Ostuni and a former gaming headset user with higher end products like Arctis Pro and Audeze Penrose. One day I tried the stereo Pc38x out of curiosity. I loved it…open backs for natural sounds. Now I use HD800s for gaming, more of Warzone. Have a big dac/amp to power it. I can help the...
