    Wood types in headphones

Yeah 5 days close. 😀👍 Though I think of anything I’m kind of curious about a thread regarding a list of wooden headphones, since I can’t seem to find a definitive list on wooden headphones.

    Wood types in headphones

I wonder what you all would think about purpleheart wood? Also by reading the Senn. HE-90 Orpheus brochure I found out it used as they put it a “special” laminated beachwood, if I were to guess, probably European Beachwood. I’m aware the last response was nearly 20 years to the day.

    Full Grado Labs History!

A little curious, but considering that the Grado blogs are nowhere to be found. Would it be possible to revisit this history segment? I’m pretty curious when it comes to learning more about this companies history, considering there are a lot of limited edition, headphones released after 2012...

Huge Comparison of [Almost] All Grado Headphones -- Post Your Own Comparisons Here (thanks, @giogio!)

I read a few pages on the web in regards to purpleheart wood and apparently as one website puts it and I quote, “has a brilliant tone very similar to hard maple but warmer”, though it is a little more on the denser side in terms of weight, and can be brittle to work with, though generally has a...

A little curious, but do you think that PurpleHeart wood, would make a good wood for a Grado.

If I recall, GS is short for the Grado Statement series, and GH is short for the Grado Heritage series.

Comment by 'ParadoxicalMadness' on listing 'Sennheiser Orpheus HE-90 + Custom ES Labs Housing + Stax Pro Bias + Extra Earpads & Headband'

Just a little curious, but I found a listing on eBay with practically the exact same pictures and description as shown here, would this be considered a scam or not, or is this you, I’m not entirely sure. https://www.ebay.com/itm/256183834523

    STAX SR-Ω (SR-Omega) '' The Legendary OMEGA ''

I might try to get that one as well as the one with prototype drivers, when I get a job.

    STAX SR-Ω (SR-Omega) '' The Legendary OMEGA ''

I ended up hearing about the listing straight from a classifieds listing through one of the comments, though I haven’t asked him directly, but someone else did so should ask said person, though I haven’t asked him I’d like to get this pair if I could, but knowing how things go, someone else...

    STAX SR-Ω (SR-Omega) '' The Legendary OMEGA ''

It does sound nice and can get a good amp to run with it, during the time I pay it off.

    STAX SR-Ω (SR-Omega) '' The Legendary OMEGA ''

Well as soon as I get a new job going to see if I can pay for one in partial payments, though something tells me that someone else would reach it before I would.

    STAX SR-Ω (SR-Omega) '' The Legendary OMEGA ''

I would love to own one with Omega prototype drivers if I could get it, but that’s besides the point, anyways, from what I recalled There are only 10 Omega with prototype drivers & up to 650 with production drivers of which the highest recorded number was 605 or 609 I can’t exactly remember...

Well, it’s good to know that the T2 is no longer alone in that tier.
