Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

The N5 hybrid I guess? It's already out in some markets

If you still love Etymotic ER4, this is the thread for you...

Just switch to an over-ear fit (like the Evo but gotta be better than that) and it's all perfect.

    The FitEar CIEM Impressions Thread

I just double checked and I guess you are right on that. Maybe someone else can chime in on the whether the SR components are wrapped and hidden point.

    The FitEar CIEM Impressions Thread

The simplest way to spot a SR should be the titanium tube at the sprout leading to the treble driver, which is the smallest one in the setup. My 335SR has all the crossover components hidden and wrapped up with something like a piece of heatshrink. Not sure if those in the regular 335/334 would...

Anyone here still uses the ancient ER4P / ER4S? I just dug up my 10+ years old ER4P and it still sounds phenomenal.

That's Indiegogo's problem not Aviot's I'd say. It's like a form with certain fixed answers for all products listed there, and info like "concept" were written on day one without much update afterwards. Info on Aviot's own website is clear on every front.

It is new to the outside world but it is not new to Aviot users. The same driver arrangement was used in the last generation PNK model and the results was amazing. There the DD does bass and the planar does mids and trebles. In the new generation I think the 3 extra BAs are a full range array.

I'm not sure if your problem is the same with mine, my prestige charge case's 4-LED-state last like forever, the 3-LED seems to hold up for quite a while as well, but after that the battery goes flat in a breeze, never really stopping at the 2-LEDs or the last one. This is not the first time I...

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

For the price of the best wired IEMs nowadays you can get like 10 to 20 pairs of Airpod Pros. Wired IEM no battery expiration......you gotta be kidding unless you have that magical voodoo to make sound out of the IEM itself. You have to get a DAP for your best wired IEMs, while a TWS is THE DAP...

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

I think the main difficulties are: 1. TWS basically takes over most of the audio-related player functions from your DAP, so instead of a full size PCB with arrays of quality (i.e. big) caps and resisters in your DAP we have to settle with a miniature PCB with generic off-the-shelf tiny...

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

I'm wondering if the dynamic driver in the Fokus Prestige got a titanium coated cone/membrane. All the official promotion materials of the Hong Kong distributor said it has, but nothing elsewhere including Noble's own pages suggested the same thing. Anyone got the official say from Noble?

Sony announces the "Just ear" brand of custom IEMs

I don't understand...........It's a CIEM so if your pair is big it simply means your ears are that big, there's no "too big" in the world of CIEM unless the fit of your pair is messed up, and a refit is all you need.

Sony announces the "Just ear" brand of custom IEMs

How can a CIEM be too big? You mean it takes up too much space in your pocket, or?

Better than Noble - definitely for me but it's a preference thing. I'm so very tired of these shameless V-shape tunings. Mystique is a no-no but the Prestige is not bad. Better than Final - almost certainly, with Final perhaps preferable if you want to listen for many consecutive hours due to...
