Lehman Audio Linear
It’s been a while since I’ve been around but some of you long time users might remember me. I’m back with another review! This time I had the pleasure of receiving a demo unit of the Lehman Audio Linear. The Linear is a solid state amp producing 400mw into 60 ohms and 200mw into 200 ohms. If...- RAZRr1275

Win a SUSVARA
I don't deserve these headphones because no one deserves anything, but receiving them would make me quite happy as I've enjoyed the HE-6 a lot and am excited to see what the Susvara can do.- RAZRr1275

Calling All "Vintage" Integrated/Receiver Owners
So I know this question is speaking in terms of generalities and stereotypes but how warm exactly are amps like the Sansui 9090 in comparison to modern tube amps like the Zana Deux or DNA Stratus? I have my SX-1010 coming in soon so I suppose I'll find out but I'm curious what others say since...- RAZRr1275

The Fisher 500C might be something you're interested in. I don't know about its design specifically, but I know its old, has tubes and is very highly regarded.- RAZRr1275

Wow ESP-950 and Little Dot to Glenn 300B. That's a huge jump. You'll certainly appreciate it. I'm just going for the OTL myself. 300Bs are a little bit too expensive for my wallet. I guess the way it works in my head is I can justify spending an extra 2K to keep the ZD around but I can't justify...- RAZRr1275

Lol. It really does. But from all that I've heard about it its well worth the wait. Plus I have the Zana Deux to keep me occupied. And my hands warm from those ridiculously large Russian space heaters. I mean tubes.- RAZRr1275

HifiMAN HE-6 Planar Magnetic Headphone
A few interesting things on the matter 1) Turns out the taps don't put out any more power with the ZDT than the HP out. Also confirmed with Craig that there's no issue using the HE-6 from the out. Won't affect the transformers at all. 2) Definitely not enough power and I knew that going...- RAZRr1275

I got the Raytheon in today. It's quite laid back as you suggested. I'm liking it a lot though listening to acoustic blues (Muddy Waters - Folk Singer at the moment) with the HD800s. Using the SFD-1 for this as a DAC with the '74 Reflektors in. Gives his voice a very thick sultry tone and kills...- RAZRr1275

Hm - I was pretty unclear - the 12AX7s are actually for the ZDT. The SFD-1 takes 6922s. Currently have the '74 Reflektors in it. Might grab some CCAs later once funding allows. How did the Syl and GE compare to the Raytheon as far as sound sig?- RAZRr1275
