Update: I am in fact now finding the G73R’s better than the stock driver tubes when paired with the Elrog ER 300b’s. And they are dead silent. I will occasionally have some microphonic stuff with the driver tubes but I haven’t once heard anything like that with the G73R’s, even in high gain...
