FIIO 2024 New Product Schedule-From FIIO James
What I'd like to see from FiiO is a Bluetooth transmitter with built-in EQ capabilities, it's a shame BTA30 doesn't support EQ and BR13 is reciever-only. Would love to have the capability to EQ bluetooth headphones as well. -
RME ADI-2 DAC Thread
I also just noticed the update with ADI-remote, very useful. I especially find it beneficial to quickly being able to either share EQ settings easily between users if they happen to have same setups or being able to quickly A&B different EQ settings with that instant change when fine-tuning...- RPGWiZaRD

DigiZoid ZO FS & ZO FS+ (a.k.a. ZO3) Updates & Discussion Thread
I might have some extra for the older versions with the soft-shell case but I like my ZO's so much they'll probably follow me to the grave if I can help it LOL. I will probably DIY various problems that arrive to my best ability. The battery on the one I've used started to swell and broke the...- RPGWiZaRD

VZR Model One
Same here but I keep seeing the constant talks about slight upgrade they are making here and there whether it's to the microphone, cable or the headphone itself so when I do test them I'd rather wait to have the latest revision instead of picking up some older used one.- RPGWiZaRD

M-Audio Q40 Impressions (long w/pics)
I don't like sibilant highs either, I like balanced highs so neither underpresented or overpresented but most importantly, I don't like metallic highs, think Beyerdynamic that I've tried a few in a shop besides the DT770 Pro that I owned for a short while so you can listen at slightly higher...- RPGWiZaRD

M-Audio Q40 Impressions (long w/pics)
Have you had the opportunity to compare the Signature Masters as well? If I decide to give Ultrasone another try higher up in the range (because the creaking especially can be a bit annoying in the Signature X) I will probably either give Signature Pulse or Master a go. I'm not sure if I need...- RPGWiZaRD

M-Audio Q40 Impressions (long w/pics)
I would gladly buy another pair if I could find one (in decent condition). These are still my favorite headphones I've used so far having tried many expensier ones, perfect for EDM especially with punchy, snappy, good quality bass (It's more about the great dynamicness and such than bass...- RPGWiZaRD

VZR Model One
Well UK is not part of EU anymore so that means import fees. It's also available on amazon.de but both on amazon.uk and .de it's not possible to ship to Finland but the price is also over-the-top at 397€ which is now how transatlantic pricing typically converts like, wasted like half year for...- RPGWiZaRD

VZR Model One
I'm suprised such a big gain at 1900Hz actually sounds good, in my experience not even the "worst" headphones I try tend to need more than max 5~6dB adjustments here n there to sound balanced in their frequency range, I'm more of a adjustment by-ear than measurement guy as I'm doing hobby...- RPGWiZaRD

Drop + Ultrasone Signature X Headphones Discussion
I'm definitely a guy that is into midbass slam and quality and that's why I'm trying to find a replacement for M-Audio Q40 that to me have the best punchiness to quality ratio I've encountered (even compared to say Signature DJ and Campfire Audio Cascade, the latter I'd say is more about...- RPGWiZaRD

Best sounding VST Mastering EQ: Share your experience!
Another vote for Fabfilter Pro Q 3, I just like both the sound quality and the workflow, so flexible. It's equal to the swiss army precision knife in EQs for me. I've used 1 and 2 before, as well. 2 was quite a big step, from 2 to 3 I'd say a pretty minor step.- RPGWiZaRD

VZR Model One
Still crossing my fingers, one day us europeans can pick up this headphone too without having to ship over seas. This line intrigued me a lot as I've been searching for a M-Audio Q40 replacement that I've been using forever, so far the the Ultrasone Signature X comes closest that I'd currently...- RPGWiZaRD

Drop + Ultrasone Signature X Headphones Discussion
Recieved the new pair today and gotta say the new pads works very well like previously said but like someone also stated also the creaking at least on this pair is noticeably less than on the 1st pair so feels like they've at least tried to adress it somehow, only when putting them on I'll hear...- RPGWiZaRD

Drop + Ultrasone Signature X Headphones Discussion
Man I hate import laws or I'd rather say the taxation laws are from hell over here. I have to pay same amount import fees for my replacement pair, which accounts to 59€ ~= $63,70 with today's exchange rate. Reason: Only if I would have to return my 1st pair and prove it by declaring a shipping...- RPGWiZaRD
