Akg k701(2) va k712 what is the real difference?
I also like the K701 better. I didn’t like the K712 because unnaturalness of the bass and “lack of air” at the highs range (in this range it is similar to K872). K712 mids are good, but no better than the K612.- RuslanG

Pads, Pads, and more Pads!
Surprisingly, 20 years have passed, but still the same, people are forced to look for replacements for their worn-out original pads because the lifespan of the headphones and pads are different. For some reason, manufacturers still do not consider it necessary to put spare pads in the box, with...- RuslanG

HEDD Announces HEDDphone With AMT Technology
Thus, it is the experience gained that allows to determine the neutrality (naturalness) of certain headphones. Neutral-sounding headphones are the subject of search for both audiophiles and professionals, but since most headphones are produced with colored sound, the subject of search for...- RuslanG

New Sennheiser HD 620S Closed Back
Sennheiser(s) continue to surprise me (with concern and wariness) with a scattering of new models. I still look with regret at the "ear jewelry" from Samsung-AKG, the AKAI microwave, the JVC batteries, etc.- RuslanG

Shure SRH1840 and SRH1440 Unveiled!
I think you can try making new pads using foam rubber and damping plastic (if any) from the old original pads. I did this with Denon and got the original sound- RuslanG

Audio-Technica ATH-R70x - In-Depth Review & Impressions
The inner diameter is slightly less than 5 cm. My ear is 7 cm :) but the pads are soft, so a little discomfort is not critical for me- RuslanG

AKG's new K872?
The same situation is with silly prices of small speakers, proudly called “monitors”, which are useless, well.. maybe for listening to mid frequencies )- RuslanG

AKG's new K872?
Thats exactly, I concluded that K612 is much better for work because ambiguous mids of K812. However, listening to music with K812 is a real pleasure- RuslanG

HD800 can only be sold if you are going to take AKG K812 instead, in other cases there is no point:upside_down::ksc75smile:- RuslanG

Denon D2000/D5000, MD2000/MD5000 Thread!
The price difference is almost 10 times. But D9200 is V-shaped and the D2000 is not, so the D2000 is very good for professional purposes as it is flat and neutral throughout the frequency range. If Denon had released a limited edition of the D2000 I would buy a pair without a second thought- RuslanG

AKG K702 Impressions.
M70x is a very precise instrument for professional purposes across the entire frequency range, and in this sense it is better than the R70x. The mids there are no worse than K702 (K612)- RuslanG
