    Have you tried any other pads on the Atty? I'd be interested in peoples observations on the Eikon, Universe, Auteur and Verite pads on the Atticus - assuming that all of these are swappable. I'm not sure if the dimensions of all the ZMF phones would allow for this.

    I also have the hi-x55. The best synergy I have found with it is directly from the HipDac (often with bass boost) and I suppose it would sound similar from the ZenDac. That said, good luck and YMMV of course.
