    Westone Wx vs Shure RMCE-BT1

I get that, but why? It seems like a great product at a great price point. The only reason I see to discontinue is lack of profit at the $150 price point.

    Westone Wx vs Shure RMCE-BT1

I hate taking my W30 to the gym, especially since I almost lost them twice. The W30 drivers are $400 MSRP ($200-250 replacement price used). The Westone v1 bluetooth cable is an additional $100 and the v2 cable is $150. Then I found the Westone Wx is $150 (on sale for $99.99 in some places...

Thanks for the updates.. I went ahead and purchased it on sale at Amazon. Going to either keep that or the EX600 as a backup for the Wesones.

Thanks luisdent. Can you comment more about the fit? I currently own the Westone UM2 and Sony MDR-EX600 and I find the Wesones very nice as they sit completely on the ear drum. The MDR-EX600's protrude a little (although not as bad as the TF10s).. This picture shows the XBA line sitting pretty...

How does this line differ from the last lineup (MDR-EX600)?

Jet City Super Sonic Can Jam April 14, 2012 (Next Seattle Meet)

Cool, I just randomly searched for local meets and ran into this thread. Meet is only 5 weeks away :)   I'll try my best to be there. My "gear" is somewhat limited so I don't think I'll have a setup/booth, but I'm definetly down to join in on the fun...

    June Meet in Seattle

I was just searching for Seattle meets and this popped up (only a month away). I think I'll be in town that weekend so I'm down for some head-fi fun.

    Senn CX 680

I've owned a pair of these for a few months. They are very water resistant and they sound decent. I also own a pair of Sennheiser IE7s and Westone UM2s. I tend to go to the UM2s the most often out of all 3 because I get the best fit/seal/soundl, but they are all solid headphones for the gym.  ...

    Most Comfortable High End IEM?

I also vote for Westone. Westone 2 will deliver on the sound and the comfort. The price should be pretty decent, especially if you pick up a used one.

Can't find IEM's that stay in!

I used just about every brand of entry-level IEMs and think the UM1 + Complys is the best option. The IEM design allows it to sit flush in the ear and the complys don't slip out. The Marshmallows will also stay in and are the cheaper alternative (easier to replace due to cost), but they don't...

    Sony MDR-V6 / Beyer DT250 Velour Pads - $18.48 Shipped

I did a google product search for "beyerdynamic 942704" and it pulled up 3 vendors (B&H, Dale Pro Audio, and SweetWater). B&H & Dale Pro Audio both had shipping, so the total came out to ~$25.00. SweetWater had them for $18.48 with FREE shipping. I ordered a pair of pads from Sweetwater since my...
