    [FiiO Q5s Type C ‖ Q5s] Bluetooth DSD-capable Amplifier,AK4493x2,768k/32bit

Glad to see Fiio coming back to a stripped down design(reason why i have always preferred DAC/Amp combos to DAPs) with a killer amp section focusing only on music.Bluetooth,NFC,streaming ,i personally don't care..

Audeze LCD-2C Classic - Impressions Thread

Always wondered why so much fuss about the NHs-to answer to Bubba-Jay and so many others(bought them after the rave reviews was very disappointed )most people seeing them as dark when I saw them as both lacking in midrange clarity AND having harsh upper mids/highs.Food for thought even on THIS...

As I have already mentioned in earlier posts before planars are NOT concerned (I've been told)with burn-in,which makes sense if you think of the much thicker plastic film compared to the "plastic" cones of 95% (or so) of today's dynamic transducers.

Not thinking it is off topic as we're trying to compare(granted that most of us haven't heard the new old LCD2 it is a bit surreal)with other HPs listeners have had. PS I suspect the x2's treble issue is due to lack of burn-in,i know some of you don't believe in it but i have experienced it on...

They only retail for Ether Cs and Os,which is not surprising as Mr Speakers'chairman(forgot his name)announced in this thread he had just finished the 1st batch of US territory pre-orders.

The confusion came from my misuse of the word rumbling bass:what i meant was "well rounded" bass having a warm touch to it,typical of "tubey" sound,so i maintain not having great extension. After re-listening to my Ultrasones i know now what annoys me in them,it is their peak in the highs,it is...

What i gather from your description (as i see we share the same feelings towards the Audioquest-i humbly contributed about a year ago to the NH's anti-hype)the Atticus or the Aeon Os are definitely the way to go. Much appreciated ctaxx.

Actually it was misinformation-thought it would be of no interest to most(non French)followers- What i know is that Mr Speaker was present at last year's Son et Image but was NOT this year, don't ask me why, dunno.

Sorry for quoting you twice(double clicked unintentionnally)i think i follow you now, your examples are much clear, sorry for the confusion of terms:my Ultrasones lack a tad-would be THE perfect HPs otherwise-of upper bass/lower mids presence(the famous presence region quoting Tyll of...

Not sure i quite agree with both of you(i may be wrong since i'm not an expert at analysing HPs FR)as far as my intuition tells me i meant that percussions have a upper mid resonance (you can hear it with MOST-not pretending to have listened to all their references though-AKG HPs)my HPs having a...

What didn't you like about their bass ? I like "rumble"as opposed to punchy bass.Usually punchy bass(at least this is my conclusion)is due to HPs having upper mids emphasis,HPs with upper bass/lower mids emphasis make for warm and rumbly bass.
