Hey, I love my ex1000, but they have started to get a small, 2-3 db channel imbalance, that is ok at lower frequencies, and increases as it gets higher. The left side is louder. Are there any common cleaning problems?

What do you guys think about audio dampening foam in the cups for these drivers? To me, it brings down a bit of the reverb for the highs, making it sound cleaner imo.

Is there a best earbud for Jpop or Jazz in a <$50 range? I'm new to earbuds so I'm unsure what things are. Or maybe higher and I can just save longer...
