DT990 Pro Impressions Thread
I did mix with DT 1770 for only 5 minutes of footage without complex tracks. Seemed okay. I can only know how good after redoing the same mix from scratch on studio monitors. Will keep you posted.- Subhakar

Thanks. Shall avoid using DT 990 for the mastering job. Of course, monitors are the ones that make sense, I agree with you.- Subhakar

DT990 Pro Impressions Thread
New owner. I asked for a 32ohm but ended up with the 250ohm DT 990. Plugged it into a $40 tube amp connected to Oppo HA-2's amp section connected to RME Babyface headphone-out and it sounded so crystal clear like sparkling water. Loved watching "John Wick". I own DT 1770, DT 880 but this one...- Subhakar

Welcome to the Rileys: 6.5/10 Yet another indie film that speaks volumes and more importantly shows how wonderful an actor Kristen Stewart can be and how wrong it is to judge her acting skills by just looking at that horrific "Twilight" franchise. And, of course, ably aided by the great actor...- Subhakar

Little Boxes (2016): 5/10 People think of mostly "Two and a Half Men" sitcom when they think of Melanie Lynskey but I find her performing a lot better in some of the indie films she did. This one above and the one below are my favourites. She has a very warm screen presence and a praiseworthy...- Subhakar

Beyerdynamic T90 Discussion and Support Thread
Need your vote. I own a DT 1770 that I like for its near-flat signature; a DT 880, a reliable Plan B for my mixing job; and a DT 990 that I sometimes like for watching films although I find it too thin and its mids a bit too recessed to my liking. Now, would it be worth it, if I spend $200...- Subhakar

"Get Out": 4/10. The monster hit that made $190M on a $4.5M budget with 99% rating on RT isn't so impressive on viewing to my eyes. They ruined a chance to make a terrific social commentary like a dark comedy the way Kubrick did with "Dr.Strangelove" or a thorough horror flick the way someone...- Subhakar

Beyerdynamic Xelento!
I am more interested in the 2.5mm TRRS balanced cable "Xelento wired" comes with than remote cable.- Subhakar

I watched the original cut ten years ago and director's cut recently. Former is better. Great film and ironical ending. One of my top 50. The recent "Black Sea" starring Jude Law is not epic but a decent enough film of the same submarine genre.- Subhakar

What Maise Knew 6/10: Onata Aprile steals the show. Right up there with Tatum O'Neal in "Paper Moon" and Abigail Breslin in "Little Miss Sunshine." The girl manages to evoke every emotion demanded by every scene so effortlessly. Magical.- Subhakar
