Working on a Mac audio player app, looking for some feedback.
wow, that's pretty impressive. not on a mac, so I only watched the video and looked through the folder contents, but looks like good progress. i was curious about the audio engine - how much were you able to find existing libs/code for and how much did you end up doing from scratch? was it...- thehumantornado

if you think it would make his day then maybe it would be worth it. hard to see them just sit there though if he doesn't use em. bought my dad Senn 555 for christmas last year, think he's maybe used them twice.- thehumantornado

for $75 you might want to look around the sale forums a bit; seems like you can get a decent used set in that range- thehumantornado

Best FLAC player for PC?
+1 for foobar. not sure if i missed it, but didn't see mention of wasapi output plugins available for it. tried a couple and they can be slightly quirky, but worth the effort i'd say http://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_out_wasapi- thehumantornado

Best Amp/Dac for sennheiser hd25-1 ii under $100
was kind of curious about this too, had my eye on hd25's for a bit and would be in the same boat for a budget amp- thehumantornado

Budget Amp
I have the Yulong pretty happy with it too. Looks like some of the others are dac/amp combos as well.- thehumantornado

Linux users unite!
Anyone here use a roku box? I just set up plex on fedora and it's pretty nice. Surprised how easy it was too once I got the firewall sorted. Now all my movies on my linux box can stream to the tv; does music too, but don't see myself using that much. oh well, just happy it's working...- thehumantornado

Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)
Just wanted to say thanks Joker! Was looking for a fun, sub $100 iem and went with the Thinksound TS02 after reading through your reviews. Quite happy with them as a first > $20 in-ear.... Thanks, ht- thehumantornado
