I'd say it's average. I like the understated look, but there's not much notable either way about the wire itself, which I'd say is a good thing. It's not stiff. Two nitpicks about the cable: 1. Useless chin slider doesn't stay positioned 2. Plug housing seems slightly longer than average to me...

Not in my experience. I found the IE 600 to be spicier in that regard than the Cincotres, but the mids and treble certainly aren't lacking, I love the tuning. Haven't heard either of those, sorry!

I have these too; I also bought them on HBB's recommendation, and agree with everything @earlybirdthr33 said. I find these to be excellent for their price and their place in the market. I am particularly impressed by the bass. I don't know if "impact" is the right word to use, but you can feel...

Shanling M0 Pro - Ultra-Portable Hi-Fi Player, Now With Balanced Output!

@Shanling I’m curious if you can confirm whether the M0 Pro supports the Opus codec? (I know the original M0 doesn’t, but some of your more recent players do.)

My imported Japanese A307 also seems to have the same bass issue.

Exceptional in Every Detail: Say Hello to the IE 600

null-audio.com builds custom cables and offers Sennheiser IE300/600/900 connectors as an option. I bought an "Ethos Series MKV" cable from them with those connectors and love it, it's great with the IE600.

A Review of MandarinEs Foam Tips

@garcsa I ordered some Symbio Wa tips (S/M/L) about a month ago and have tried them out on Sony MH755s (without the adapters.) The two larger-sized tips slide out of my ears. The smallest ones don't slide out and give me a decent seal, but are unexpectedly painful to wear; I can only keep them...

Searching For A Cable: MMCX/3-button Remote

Good suggestion! Somehow I missed that on ALO's site. (ALO and Campfire are sibling companies.) It looks like Comets ship with the 3-button mic version of ALO's Pure Copper Litz cable, which does call out "No Memory wire" (the other versions of that same cable don't have that callout.)...

How do you store/transport your IEMs?

I recently acquired a pair of Ultimate Ears Triple.fi 10's, which (from what I can see) seem to be discussed an awful lot in this IEM sub-forum on Head-Fi. I'm very impressed with the Triple.fis. What leaves a little to be desired is the carrying case that UE provides with the headphones...
