The SR3 is the more serious, reference-grade, version of the SR2. It will certainly be more appreciated by those "more serious" music listeners. Personally, I love the fun that the SR2 brings. This "fun" has a physical depth to it, and that's what I always dreamed of in a pair of headphones...

Now, that, Pierre, that is the dream! But unfortunate that they won't be making their way to me. Still, customers have plenty of options. It's almost endless options if you also consider aftermarket ear-pads.
