    I have a PHA-3 running on dual 3.5mm balanced output (effect audio cable for my ciems) and it sounds fantastic. The only downside is that it is somewhat bulky.

    Haha, the worst IEMs for bass is actually those of Shures, the bass presence is really somewhat dismal.

    I think that isolation is key for the proper reproduction of music but at the same time it should not be achieved throuhh artificial means.
