THE TA ZH1ES cannot drive the speakers unfortunately so gonna need another amplifier for your speakers.

I believe they do connect through LDAC.

I agree, the XBA 300 sounds more balance to me and have more sparkle in the treb, however, I love both of them :).

Well, I suggest you can try with the XBA 300 if you want the clasrity from the BA driver.

Actually the Sony PHA 3 used the ESS 9018 ( desktop class)  I believe, the ES9018K2M usually appears on DAP like iBasso dx 90 or Oppo HA 2.

i used to own the Z5, from my memory, you should love this Z1R too.

I use The MDR Z1R with the stock balance cable from Sony MDR Z7. Comparing to SE, The MDR Z1R with balanced has a greater bass,  wider soundstage and I really love the mid on the balance output.

Ohh, does anyone try this Sony MDR Z1R with the balance from sony PHA 3. I have tried for a few days and find out they are a pretty good pair.

You will love the sound from EX 800 ST ;).   Thế phải gọi là chị rồi ta , em sn 1996 :). Khi nào về Việt Nam! thì giao lưu ạ :)

Haha, it is my pleasure too. Actually, I have the lucky to own the EX 800 ST too and it is really competitive to the EX 1000 in the sound department.I only prefer the EX 1000 because of the magnesium case, for the sound, I like them in both ways.   P/s: chào bạn, hiện giờ mình đang sống ở...

I have the chance to own both. For me, the XBA Z5 has a deeper bass and the tonal is a lot warmer compare to the legend EX 1000. As for the EX 1000, it is well known for it's high and revealing treble, the mid is beautiful and the bass is still deep but not as the Z5. I enjoyed both of them.  ...
