Would love to get free IE80s

Hey guys, thanks for the responses. I just now stopped by and saw them. The popping noise was caused by my phone being too close to the unit. I actually returned the Vali and went for the Magni 2, it may have just been my unit, but the noise floor was easily audible and it bugged me.

I got a new Vali and pair of HD650s and I have noticed a clipping/popping noise that occurs in spurts. This will occur even without the RCA cables plugged into the amp. I've noticed it when the amp is at 25% to 50% volume. I don't have any other high impedance headphones to test with the amp...

Good, how else would head-fi financially drain me with purchases steadily increasing in size. What are some of those other factors besides frequency response?
