Just looked up online. 12AU7 and 6J5 have an average mu of 20. May differ a bit from the individual tubes I have. I will swap in a 12AU7 after I break in the EL84 a bit.👌 I knight you Sir MuMeister!!!👍🙏

Had a delayed delivery I forgot was coming. Philips EL84 6BQ51963 rX4. So out come the KT170s and in go the EL84. Warm midrange, thick resonant bass, not quite as extended in the treble, but the treble is clear and crisp. Hoping the treble will open up a bit with use. Still working with Mazda...

I like the few 6C5 and 6J5 I have found ( at great prices ), they all sound good enough to keep me from searching for more drivers! The KR and Westinghouse 6C5s are my favorites by a smidgen😉
