Official Sony DMP-Z1 Thread
There is a 99% chance there will be no successor. If you don't get one now, you probably will never have one. That doesn't mean there is a zero chance, but it is very unlikely. There have been no upgrade for the TA-ZH1ES either and this one will get an update before the DMP-Z1- Vamp898

SONY NW-WM1Z M2 / WM1A M2
As far as i know, the warranty is only valid for the person who bought it. So if you buy it and then resell it, the new buyer can't use the warranty. At least that is the information i was given.- Vamp898

I didn't had the impression the MV1 feels cheap, only the Moondrop Void. I hope there is no misunderstanding here^^ i think the MV1 is built pretty good- Vamp898

Final Audio D8000 Planar Magnetic Headphone
in your place, that would be the last time i'd ever buy an product from that company. The 4000$ are a joke and that they just ignore your request when you write them directly is absolutely not acceptable for an product with that price point.- Vamp898

Sony Z1R....listening impressions only
As some people might know, the Moondrop CEO is a Sony Fanboy (owning the MDR-Z1R as well as the WM1ZM2 and the DMP-Z1. He even gave the DMP-Z1 to one of his employee for an commercial for their new phone ) and so the Moondrop Void was intentially tuned to sound close to the MDR-Z1R. Was anyone...- Vamp898

Look! MOONDROP's First HiFi Smartphone, MIAD01
? this whole argument exists, because what is shown in the Software is not what is coming out of the device. Just because the App says 192kHz doesn't mean there is a 192kHz signal coming out of the headphone jack. What is sent to an USB DAC is unrelated to what comes out from the jack- Vamp898

I want an official solution from Moondrop though. Google is doing it, Sony is doing it, i don't see why Moondrop should not do it- Vamp898

Because I really liked the design and the whole idea and want to support Moondrop to have the balls to release such an device (and it's also by far the best audio quality I heard from a phone), I pulled the trigger and bought it. Even without the 4.4mm this phone already has an good cost/price...- Vamp898

Final Audio D8000 Planar Magnetic Headphone
I would give asking Final directly a shot. I once had issues with my XBA-Z5 and Sony offered me a new pair for 50% discount. I heard Hifiman does the same thing with >80% discount. I once had issues with my Moondrop KATO and i just received a new pair for free (without the need of shipping the...- Vamp898

SONY IER-Z1R
Due to their weight, i had to use them with SS or S (i usually have M/L, depending on Earphone/IEM) to get them deep enough in their to stick in place. But they still moved which didn't effect the sound but hurt my ear. With S-Size foam they stopped moving, but then i constantly had the feeling...- Vamp898

I am not a AZLA fan but to be fair, the IER-Z1R isn't the easiest In-Ear in terms of eartip choice. Its the spoiled first child that can blame all its siblings when something goes wrong- Vamp898

I heard the MEST and MEST Mk2 with the Subway to Sally live Concert Nackt II and the clapping of the people and the shouting is in different layers and the soundstage is unrealistic large (i attended the concert, i was in the hall, live, it wasn't as big as these IEM make it) So for me...- Vamp898

Fathom from Campfire Audio - Official Thread
To be fair, the SP3000 has a relatively high background noise, always had. You're not the first to complain about this. Just because it costs a lot of money doesn't mean it is good. In most measurements it shows an Noise Floor from 4-8µV For comparison, the 699$ M11 Plus has an Noise Floor of...- Vamp898

Afaik Tidal only supports Bit Perfect output with external USB DAC and even then not always. Some DAPs suffer the issue that even when you plug an external DAC, Tidal will down convert to 16/48- Vamp898

The Native Music Player is, as far as i know, just a stock music Player unrelated to Moondrop. At least that is what i understood. I tested it and noticed, this is just an average Android Stock Player. I tested the FiiO Player App (which is pretty good) as well as the Sony App and some...- Vamp898

SONY IER-Z1R
The IER-M9 is most famous for having an DD-like bass and/or the best bass you can have in an IEM at all. The IER-M9 was originally developed as an 4-way system, but after musicians (It was tuned in cooperation with musicians) complained about the bass, Sony developed an BA Subwoofer and...- Vamp898
