Can anyone offer me some advice which asynch USB converter I can use with a MAC? I have some music files up to 192kHz that I would like to play via USB. But info on suitable USB converters for MAC use is proving impossible for me to find.

I am trying to find out if it is possible or not to play 192KHz audio files via USB on an external DAC without using any special drivers. What would or should happen if I try to play a 192KHz file via USB on a USB DAC that is only 96KHz max? Would the audio file play or not?

Does anyone know of any small laptop with an optical output? It has to be a Windows OS type laptop. I want to put my music on a small laptop and then on top of my HIFI rack. At the moment I use a big laptop for everything. But I think it is time to separate the music from the rest of my work.
