Picked up my sr80s today to find the right driver not putting any sound out, a little trouble shooting and figure out it was not the cable, alittle shaking of the headphone, and it comes back here and there but the bass is distorted, as it moves the coil too much and the whole thing cuts out...

So I'm sitting in my dorm room, bored, and decided to shine my LED flashlight at my tube amp, and im getting some kind of signal response through my headphones, why is that so? Are the photons disturbing the electron flow within the tubes?

Ive got a York EF1200 electronic air cleaner, lately its been making a lot of what im assuming are static discharges, a month ago it was like once per cycle my hvac comes on, now its faster like a taser...can anyone explain this phenomenon? or have a solution to it? Thanks
