Can I use my JH13 with Silver Dragon cables terminated TRSS (Hifiman) balanced plug with PHA-3?
Does anyone know of an adapter that would enable me to use my JH13 with Silver Dragon cables terminated TRSS (Hifiman) balanced plug with the Sony PHA-3 (Dual 3.5mm balanced output)? Would prefer not to buy a brand new cable!- kelvinz

One Source-> 3 amplifiers... solutions?
I have on source (buffalo DAC) and run it to three separate amplifiers currently through RCA's. In order to do this I am forced to physically swap the RCA's plugged into the source each time I switch amplification. Is there some sort of high quality switch available to make this a less...- kelvinz

ESW9a alternative?
I love my ESW9a as my office headphone but I'm finding it hard to deal with them being super aural. Is there any other headphones that sound similar/as good that are compact? I figure the the HF-2 I'm about to receive are probably not the best portable/office headphones.- kelvinz

Sound Around Sound May 2 2009 Impressions
Was a fun meet! Good to see everyone again. My impressions the L3000 and DHA3000 combo were awesome, really nice solid bass good quantity and wasn't overwhelming. I really enjoyed how musical they were, they seemed to have a very black background and made me rethink what I've been...- kelvinz

Best DAC/Line out for PC under $1000?
Currently using a M-Audio Audiophile USB wondering if there is something that is regarded as much better? I mostly listen to FLAC of my ripped CD's. In a month it will go Line out->Woo Audio 5 or Zana Deux. Which is why I'm considering upgrading my source- kelvinz

Zana Deux vs Wooaudio 5 vs Cary 300sei
Alright I'm about to jump into the deep end and buy either the Zana Deux, Cary 300sei or Wooaudio 5. First off I will be using k701, hd650, and possibly in the future K1000's. Second I have never owned a dedicated headphone amp. Will be pulling the trigger on a amp in the next two...- kelvinz

Woo Audio Tube Amps vs. Darkvoice/Little Dot
I am a complete newbie to headphone tube amplification I have the money to buy a Woo Audio headphone amplifier or any amp in the $1000 range. Yet I'm having a hard time convincing myself that the Woo Audio 2, 4, or 6 would be that much better than say a Darkvoice or Little Dot amplifier...- kelvinz

Ultimate Ears customs ease of comfort and instertion/removal?
I work in a office where I can listen to music but every once in awhile someone will stop by my office and ask me questions. I'm thinking of picking up the UE10/11's just cause they seem like it's easier to insert and remove while also being more comfortable than my E500's with black foamies...- kelvinz

All of you having Iphone headphone woes Easy Solution in here
I've found the solution I personally own E500's and was frustrated that they don't work with the iphone. I took a knife to the extension cable that comes with the e500's male plug and shaved down the rubber base of the plug and now it fits perfectly. Easy to do and cheap since you can...- kelvinz

Could you listen to the first 20 seconds of track 6 "Synthesizer " I'm trying to figure out if the distortion I'm hearing is due to a lack of headphone amp or an inherent flaw in my 701's. Please post your impressions along with your setup- kelvinz

Talk me in/out of spending $1000 on headphones
Besides reading head-fi for the past 3 years I'm a relative newbie to headphones. I have been listening to IEM's for the past 4 years (EX71, E3C,E4C, E500) So far I have only been able to audition the HD650's and the Grado GS1000's. The HD650's were too bassy/murky for my liking and I...- kelvinz

Auditioned GS1000's for an hour today
Had a chance to listen to a pair of new GS1000's today. I personally loved them but I'm not a Grado head so I cannot tell you how they compare to other Grado's. They only thing that stopped me from purchasing them on the spot was the poor build quality on the GS1000's the drivers looked...- kelvinz

I would appreciate your input on the differences between these headphones. I currently use Shure E4C's and am ordering Shure E500's tomorrow. I've always heard that you get more for your money on headphone vs. IEM and want to spend ~$500 on a pair of headphones to see how they compare...- kelvinz

er6i vs e3c
I know you guys get this question a lot but it dosen't seem like anyone has made a poll about it yet.
