Hugo TT 2 by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
Looking forward to this. If only Chord comes up with a streamer to the TT2/HMS stack, that will be perfect.- TopQuark

Hugo TT 2 by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
Good one. I've been waiting forever for Chord to come up with a streamer simlar to the 2Go/2Yu combo but in one box, stackable with TT2/MScaler, and capable up to DSD 512 and dual BNC outputs. I will buy it in a second. Am I the only market for this?- TopQuark

Official Unofficial 8XX Discussion Thread - UPDATE SENNHEISER HAS BEEN SOLD!!! GT(heck)IH
Here's the list I put together other than Oratory as mentioned above: AutoEq: https://github.com/jaakkopasanen/AutoEq/tree/master/results/oratory1990/harman_over-ear_2018/Sennheiser%20HD%208XX Crinacle: https://drop.com/buy/drop-sennheiser-hd-8xx-headphones/reviews/2849368 Some played...- TopQuark

Official Unofficial 8XX Discussion Thread - UPDATE SENNHEISER HAS BEEN SOLD!!! GT(heck)IH
^^ HD8XX is meant to be EQ'ed. Comparision demos in YouTube do not give it justice. Some overreacts so it made it looked bad. The amount of deviation between 8XX and 800S to achieve Harman, if one is to that, is not that far. With tamed edges at the highs and paired with a good DAC and amp...- TopQuark

Hugo TT 2 by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
So ComTrue with the addition of BNC cables works better than Amanero. This is the reason why I'm hoping Chord will come up with a TT2 compatible desktop streamer all BNC linked to complete the stack.- TopQuark

Interesting because I emailed Dan (Audiowise) and stated there is no benefit in using SRC-DX if using mscaler.- TopQuark

Audeze LCD-24 LIMITED EDITION - now including impressions and comparisons
I don't think I can link it here but there is a review from WaveTheory about the LCD-R it in another site. To quip: "Unlike previous LCD models too, when it goes shouty for me, the LCD-R does a better job of maintaining its spatial integrity than even the more expensive LCD-24." He talked...- TopQuark

Watts Up...?
The hint there is "intended to match Dave". So we will likely see an mScaler 4M+ taps with Daves footprint. I see requests for pre-amp on TT2. It will be nice to see a TT2 stack that consist of: - TT2 DAC - mScaler 1M - TToby Amp - TT2 Pre-Amp - TT2 Streamer -
Hugo M Scaler by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
It depends on your output speakers or headphones. For headphones, personally, I do perform EQ on all my headphones using ROON. It's the only way to make the soundstage larger and more transparent in a lot of cases. I'm sure some will question if it does impact transparency but it does have...- TopQuark

CHORD ELECTRONICS DAVE
So the new m-scaler will have the Dave footprint. I wouldn't be surprised there will be a follow-up version with TT2 footprint. The USB will likely be upgraded too using XMOS2 or other alternatives better than Amanero. I like the direction Chord is going to although I am still waiting for a...- TopQuark

Hugo M Scaler by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread
There are many alternatives - Innuos reclocker is one of them but acts more like the jitterbug you already have. For USB sources, there are several like the JCAT Femto and the XE. What BNC cables are you using between HMS and TT2? That could make a profound difference also if RF/EMI is...- TopQuark

Drop + Sennheiser 8XX Loaner Program
Review of 8XX even without further tweak looks good. Besides, the price with the $200 credit reward comes up to ~$900 for the phone so it is close enough to used prices of 800 and 800S.- TopQuark
