Great condition Westone W50 IEM's. Very bass heavy BA IEM, but still with an amazing midrange. Only "flaw" is the red faceplates were glued on because the screws for the faceplates stripped (common for this generation Weston IEM) Selling as I don't use IEM's much these days and have W80's.- fallingreason

Review of the NuPrime Audio Hi-mDAC portable USB DAC/amp for computer and mobile devices
Any recommendation for a USB-C to USB-C cable to use with this device for interfacing with a Mac? I tried using a Sandisk USB-C cable that came with an SSD but it does not seem to work with the Hi-mDAC? Does this unit require a special type of USB-C to USB-C cable? The USB-A to USB-C cable...- fallingreason

Review of the NuPrime Audio Hi-mDAC portable USB DAC/amp for computer and mobile devices
Just picked up this DAC and I'm very impressed! The mids and highs are perfectly balanced and very musical. The bass is lighter than my usual taste, even with the somewhat bass-heavy Westone W50's, but it is very controlled and "tight". It didn't take long for me to really appreciate the...- fallingreason

Airpods pro
Lord no. The sound quality is roughly the same as the Gen 1/2 Airpods, only now with a bit better bass and more up front mids, though this is likely largely helped by the isolation factor. I did quite a bit if A/B testing with my JH5 dual driver customs, and Westone W50 5 driver universals...- fallingreason

I second this. At times I even prefer the Westone 3's to the JH5. But not often :)- fallingreason

NuPrime uDSD USB DAC Review
It's been a very long time since I've heard the Xonar DX, but I am quite certain the uDSD would be an improvement as it is very close to the HDP, which was much better than the Asus cards. It is also a much more convenient and flexible device. I say definitely go for it!- fallingreason

NuPrime uDSD USB DAC Review
Sorry for the late reply, to connect this unit to an amplifier, you would use the RCA output jacks on the rear of the unit. You will then be able to connect a line-level signal to whatever amplifier you want to use. However, I would first try connecting the uDSD to a powered USB hub and...- fallingreason

Full Review: http://www.head-fi.org/t/767950/nuprime-udsd-usb-dac-review Great DAC for <$200. Really could not ask for a better sound at this price and the portability is a great plug. Quality RCA jacks make use that much nicer. The quality of the sound from this unit may make you...- fallingreason

NuPrime uDSD USB DAC Review
uDSD Review Build Quality and Design: The build quality is excellent. The chassis/casing is overall similar to the NuForce uDAC units, but the finish is much nicer. The contrasting bright silver logo is a nice design touch. The RCA jacks are of higher quality than the uDAC units. In fact...- fallingreason
