Just got one of these for xmas and was looking to update it. I was wondering if anyone knew where to get the instructions to get into DFU mode for the firmware upgrade and also where to download the latest firmware. Both of the links for these are broken on the Earsound website.

Is there another Panda thread somewhere or are there really that few people talking about these headphones on here? I'm kinda surprised that we haven't gotten more reactions. I need something to tide me over til mine ship. 😁

I think it's really unfortunate a product that is broken for most intents and purposes is still being sold. It's really pretty looking and nice to hold in the hand, and outside of that it fails on most accounts.

I'm sure it would be fine until it isn't. I have 3 dogs and long beard hair. The chances of getting something buzzing on the membrane is pretty high for me, so I'd just rather not take a chance for a minimal gain.

Definitely not. I'd leave that there to protect the membranes.

Yes, It's as simple as 4 screws and swap. My suggestion is to start with just the grills and give it some time. If you're still not pleased, dive into the other mods, but don't be surprised if there's not much of a difference beyond then. IMHO the grills were 90% of the improvement and the rest...

I had the same issue with the V30 whenever I was using a headphone extender to trigger aux mode. Every time I swapped headphones it would trigger google. It was a minor annoyance, but it sucked when trying to A/B stuff.
