Hi, this pair is in excellent condition apart from some slight letter discoloration. I don't think they need a presentation on how they sound. Vintage/Current R2R DAC Owners Discussion, Insight, and Review Thread
Getting back to audio pleasures. I own a Theta Gen 5, curious to know if it still holds it's own against more modern dac's of today. I have also a Hugo 2 and I can tell that even with HQPlayer it sounds flat/2D in comparison. I'm curious if someone has compared old R2R to HugoTT2.- PCWar

Recently purchased the ZX700. I like it's sound in general but compared to my ZX500 it sounds a bit bass light. Is it me or it really is the case?- PCWar

Sony EX1000 in mint condition, one of Sony's best in-ear's'ever produced. For new head-fiers I would suggest to read on them. They keep up with the best of the best of nowadays and imho still beat good part of them (read bass texture and imaging). Full retail box with original accessories and...- PCWar

Yes I agree with you, it was just an interpretation of what he decribed on the video. I crave soundstage too.- PCWar

SONY NW-ZX500
I believe what he meant was the sound stage is a function of the resolving ability of the spatial cues that are already part of the recording by any DAP, IEM or sound reproducing hardware in general. At least this is what I got.- PCWar

Sony NW-ZX300
But probably you're already a bit biassed and listing fatigue may kick in after 1 hour of critical listening. At least this is what happens with me. Also if you would go and list for a few days or even a bit longer only through one source, preferably the one assumed to be better (say ZX300 in...- PCWar

Sony NW-ZX300
Guys can someone share any source for such info. Sony advertises the same S-master chip powering either the ZX300 or the WM1A/Z. It's the first time I am reading about such difference and am not sure if this is the case unless we're speculating here. Albeit there is an improvement or not with...- PCWar

I've red a few comments on a Japanese site and asked several times here from users that as I understood purchased them. 1 year from release and 0 impressions. Here on head-fi hype trains needs way less to start. Considering how much interest the Kaedes I and II generated I was expecting a bit...- PCWar

Shure KSE1500 Review - Shure KSE1500 Sound Isolating Electrostatic Earphones
It is more frequent than I originally thought. First red it on another forum that the KSA died on him. My KSA1200 amplifier start to behave similarly. Did the reset trick a few times but ultimately died too. I settled for a Kingsound M03 and was quite happy overall. A bit larger than the...- PCWar

SONY NW-ZX500
The WM1Z does not have the same power as ZX300. It is rated at 250mW+250mW for it's balanced out vs 200mW per channel of ZX300. SE out is higher too.- PCWar

I have not red a single review of the Flat 4 Kaede III with its biocelucose drivers and I was very much interested to try them out but was hesitating because of 0 feedback. I assumed they are a failure at the end since it's been half a year they are in the market. I owned the orignal Kaede and...- PCWar

Sony EX1000 Review and Impressions Thread (with comparisons to FX700, GR10 and e-Q5)
Unfortunately I experienced exactly what Mark is describing in terms of sound with the Null Audio Arete III cable and now I understand the reason. I would highly recommend a quality retermination of the original cable to a 4.4mm balanced. The 7N Sony cable is very high quality and not strictly...- PCWar

Sony EX1000 Review and Impressions Thread (with comparisons to FX700, GR10 and e-Q5)
For how much you may think they are comparable EX1000 is on a different level provided you have a good source. Bass articulation and soundstage are easily better on the EXK. The EX800st are more closed in probably due to them being mid centric somehow. You should hear both for a few months and...- PCWar

crinacle's IEM Ranking List
One of the traits of EX1000 that I don't read often is their ability to scale with better gear. I use them with the zx300 at work and Theta Gen V + Auralic Taurus at home. It's incredible how these iems convey the difference with the better chain. Soundstage gets rediculous for an iem. Imaging...- PCWar
