Tom, the clear one was one of the first successful IEMs I built back in 2009. I basically took a TripleFi 10 and used the "guts" of it to make a custom fitted version. From there, I started to develop my own designs and that's how 1964 Ears (and now 64 Audio) was born:))

As an IEM desner for about a decade now, I can tell you with great confidence that it’s very rare that “drivers just go bad”. Usually there is some kind of user inflicted damage like ear wax, shock or strong magnetic field that ruins them. We even couldn’t burn one up with very high voltage (4V)...

@Jobbing, we are sorry to see this happen. You should be getting an email response very shortly. I can assure you that this is an "isolated" incident.... and our manufacturing process is very rigid and consistent.  This was an unfortunate "slip-up"......... If anyone else experiences ANY...

The driver setup and sound signatures are the same. the U-Series work very well as demos for the Custom A-Series.

The port that sits on the "back" of the diaphragm does nothing to relieve pneumatic pressure. It simply allows it to move further, hense the increased bass response. ADEL sits on the "front" of the speaker therefore it absorbs any change in air pressure.

Oh yeah:)

...doing so will not harm the ADEL moule:)
