How's the CP145s affect the bass of Hero? Personally, the treble only bothers me if I'm listening too loud, but that's usually because I want to feel moar of that bass and so I crank things up (I have this "issue" with most iems, btw :) When I EQ up the bass I don't have issues with the treble...

Placed an order for HERO from Bloom! Already have Nemesis, and can only keep one. Looking forward to trying an IEM that's more mid focused, and hoping it will respond well to EQ if I decide I'd like to bring bass levels up to that of Nemesis or LX.

Still not clear to me what the bass levels on Hero will be like (sounds like quality is excellent though). If it is a mini-Odin, I'd expect it to be less than the Legend X, but how does it compare to the others in the X lineup, like Nemesis, Vantage, Valkyrie, and Bravado?

I'd also like to know how the bass of HERO compares to that of Nemesis (which I also think is quite underrated)

You may already be aware, but just in case, the release of Ragnarok 2 is imminent, so you may want to hold off on purchasing it for now. As far as how it sounds with the MX4, I haven't heard the combo, so unfortunately I can't say :(

If mine are B-stock, I sure can't tell. Leather earpads have 0 signs of wear and no scratches anywhere. The box was still sealed with the Audeze tape, so I don't think it was a return item from Amazon. But to be honest, if they are B-stock, I would'd be able to deny that Audeze was deceptive...

Amazon too. Couldn't help myself and ordered a pair too. I loved them when I auditioned them, but 3K was just too much. A very good deal for 1.5K though!

Yes, how you are describing the 4 is how I heard the MX4. The MX4 had crystal clear and smooth treble, so by bright I just mean that it is more extended than the X. Sorry for the hold up on my extended impressions. Been a lot of things going on, but I'll should have them posted here soon :)

I've been fortunate enough to be able to participate in The Source AV's MX4 tour. So, I have the MX4 and my LCD-X (the version before the driver change) right here, running from Yggy to tubed Mjolnir 2's balanced out. I plan to post a more comprehensive review after I've sent the MX4 to the next...

I asked audeze about the headband, and they said the lcd2c head band is a “spring steel suspension headband with perforated strap. It's not the same as the LCD-4 headband, but is a more cost-effective version of it.” Guess they should update the website. Or maybe it’s still subject to change?

@Audeze can you share any info about the new LCD-2C? https://www.audeze.com/products/lcd-collection/lcd2c What’s the weight? Does it have fazors? How close does it sound to the original lcd2 rev2? Anything else you can share? Thanks!
