And by list, I mean like a top 10 Headphone list for Metal. A list or chart that describes each one and what they do best. A consolidated list in one spot for easy reference instead of reading through 10,000 posts.- vipervick

I think I'm more interested in the Atticus for metal. But I know nothing. I'm big into hard slamming bass. Lots of Doom, Stoner, and Psychedelic metal.- vipervick

Should I upgrade my amp?
Easier to get? The 789 is on Drop, probably the easiest to get. I've never really heard of the others @ProtegeManiac suggested. My biggest problem is that I don't have a reference. The Schiit stack is the only DAC/AMP I've ever owned.- vipervick

Should I upgrade my amp?
Hi all, I currently own and use the Schiit Magni 3 / Modi 3 stack. Should I upgrade the amp to the THX AAA 789? The headphones I use at the moment are the ATH-M50, AKG 7XX, and Mr. Speakers Alpha Dog. However, I would like to upgrade to a TOTL headphone for Metal.- vipervick

Yeah, that pic is 2 years old as well. I did get foam pads from Amazon, they work well. The speakers sound amazing near-field. I hadn't heard a horn tweeter either but I like it. I can turn these up LOUD for some Death Metal goodness!- vipervick

Computer Audio Upgrade
Well, here it is almost 2 years later... The system still sounds amazing! I am loving Klipsch and hopefully can get their large speakers for my Home Theater some day. I have only changed out the DAC and HP Amp in these 2 years. My PC quit recognizing the original Modi, so I replaced the Schitt...- vipervick

Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)
Have anyone tried the XD200 Multi Driver Deep Bass Noise Isolating Professional Earbuds? I got them free from The Modern Almanac, only paid shipping. My gut tells me you get what you pay for. However, they sounded decent if a bit weird upon arrival. I have them on my computer at home right now...- vipervick
