Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
HELP!! Going on a trip in a week, and I thought I had a pair of APP2 for my wife on the plane. They’re too big!! They push out on her ear, especially the back part. I’m guessing ear fatigue within an hour. She says they push in the back, and for her to complain…that’s something. I ask for...- ZMan2k2

Go to aptX.com and search available products. I did a scan, and it’s only Android phones at this point that have the capability of aptX adaptive playback.- ZMan2k2

I was looking at the Bose QC Ultras for a trip I’m taking soon. Conclusion that I reached, after advice here, was stick to the QCii unless I needed the “immersion” mode and Snapdragon sound. I went with some refurb QCii’s on the Bose website.- ZMan2k2

Honestly, a pair of wired M50s were how I started in this hobby 15 years ago. If I liked over-ears still, I’d rock the M50bt too! And good choice on the color, looks sharp.- ZMan2k2

How do you find the BT-W5? Better than the BTD600? I have the BTD600, so wondering why you changed?- ZMan2k2

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
I appreciate the reply. I’m going to Jamaica soon, and will be in the air for about 6 hours. Been a while since I’ve been in a plane, and wanted some more “experienced” ears to suggest. Good points on expecting miracles, I think that’s where I was. I may just stick to my MTW3s then, save the...- ZMan2k2

Going on a flight soon. Want to eliminate as much of the plane noise as possible. I have the MTW3, unsure if those are good enough, or if the Bose QC Ultras are the best option? Any frequent flyers have a suggestion?- ZMan2k2

Well, I have now had 3, yes 3, pairs of DPP TWS. All 3 had faulty performance for different reasons. First pair, audio drops, crackles, and other interference. Second pair, from a different batch, you had to jostle the right bud in the case to get it to seat and start charging every time...- ZMan2k2

Okay friends, I need some advice on spending/saving money. In the past, I had the DPP (2 sets), but they both had some technical issues, static bursts, signal drops, and one had poor build quality. I moved on to the MTW3 and I like them. I just found that Amazon Canada now has the DPP in...- ZMan2k2

Had the DPP (returned for QC issues), but on my iPhone 12, AAC was comparable with a sennheiser BTD 600 dongle and apt x adaptive. Lively enough for workouts, but aptX held a slight advantage.- ZMan2k2

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
First set had audio drops and static bursts, and the buds wouldn’t charge evenly, always 10% or more off. The second set was better, but you had to jostle the left bud after seating it in the case every time, or it wouldn’t charge. The second set wasn’t a horrible problem, but for $450CAD...- ZMan2k2

Well, after getting the DPP twice, and returning both times for technical defects, I went with the MTW3 this go round. Really is a shame about the DPP. The sound is “exciting” to say the least, but the QC of them seems to be hit or miss. I tried to live with the glitches, but in the end, I...- ZMan2k2

Have had this phone since new. It is factory unlocked, and reset. Will include a 64Gb microSD and SIM tool. Lived in a case all its life, but the case is beyond help. No major flaws, some minor scratches. Battery still provided a day of power with moderate usage (so says my daughter)...- ZMan2k2
