Thanks y'all for a great meet. I loved seeing many new faces, and new friends. After every meet, i think i should have taken some pictures, though I seem to never take any.

Things happen... I'm looking forward to the meet. The weather looks like it is going to be beautiful. Deck has been pressure washed, pork has been rubbed and about ready to go into the smoker. I brought the dynahi and k1000 upstairs and about to hook them up.

Scott, Yes you should be able to use your phone as a streamer with a usb cable to a DAC. I'll also note that I have Roon throughout my house, therefore if you have a roon app on the phone, you'll have access to my library and Tidal streaming.

Excellent. I would love to have you join in. As for portable digital sources, i use phone to chord mojo, though i let a friend borrow the mojo, I'm not sure I'll have it back by the meet.

@Paladin79 Does this top part of the speaker deflect the sound? It looks like the angle may not be over the speaker and is decorative. My Dynahi has a black beauty, I haven't heard anyone mention one in quite a while, which is understandable, as they were were discontinued ~20+ years ago...

The cardboard amp, reminds me a bit of when I was a youngin, and using cardboard as a case, since I couldn't buy anything. Though yours looks much much better even though it is cardboard. The Tiger maple amp is beautiful. You are now making me want to listen to more tubes.

Walker, a buddy of mine made it along with a headphone stand from from the handlebars. He may be able to make this meet.

Others are likely to bring some tube gear. I definitely lean more to solid state, the only tube gear I own is this amp (my first amp build). I built ~17 years ago using the original Pete Millett hybrid amp circuit board
