Jecklin Float Owners Headcount - fuglyphones owners unite
I still use mine all the time. The only downside to buying them has been that I rarely feel the need to visit head-fi as often. I paid $350 or about 250Eur so sounds pretty close.- apostate

What are the best Cans (sub $150) for mowing the lawn?
Use to use UM1s with the long comply tips with a gas rotary mower. I was able to keep the volume where I normally listen and still hear the song but the mower noise did drown out softer passages. Nowadays I use Koss KSC-75s and a reel mower with not much problem at all. Ant- apostate

Jecklin Float Owners Headcount - fuglyphones owners unite
That's a nice review indeed, pretty spot on. I'd agree the one thing I don't think the Ergo2 really works for is organ music. It just doesn't extend quite deep enough for that. Though, before they expend any effort on trying to correct that IMO relatively minor issue, I do wish they'd go...- apostate

Sennheiser 595
The 150 Ohm is a typo or mistake afaik. To the best of my knowledge there has only been a 120 Ohm version and a 50 Ohm version. The 120 Ohm version production stopped a couple years ago (apparently due to fire at the factory) and since then everything has been 50 Ohm. Generally the lower the...- apostate

Vote for the Best Sounding Headphones regardless of price when plugged in straight from a portable player
A 3rd vote for the Ergo 2. So far definitely my favorite unamped. Sounds even better amped but sounds great just from the iPod/squeezebox headphone jack. Ant- apostate

good headphones for glasses wearers?
The only headphones that have been really painful to wear for me with glasses have been the SR series Grados. The Ergo2s have been the best with the Senn 590 and 595 right up there. A good deal will depend on your frames, head shape, etc though so YMMV. Ant- apostate

Best all around headphone <400?
I like the Ergo2 better than anything else I've heard in that range (<= SR-225, Senn 5xx/6x0, AKG 271s). "Best" is subjective but IMO its definitely a contender. Ant- apostate
