UE900 vs Westone 3 Dilemma!
UE900 has a relatively neutral sound signature, while the W3 has a energetic signature with emphasized bass and treble. I do think both of these IEMs will handle the aforementioned genres equally well.- RealSlimSeto

Westone 3 vs Westone 4
Sounds like a Atrio MG7 might be up your alley. Or the Yamaha EPH-100. Those have seriously powerful bass. The westone 3s can be quite sensitive to source, meaning poorly mastered tracks or recordings will sound bad and harsh due to the transparency- RealSlimSeto

VSONIC GR07 Impressions Thread
Can anyone here compare the Westone 3s to the GR07? The current amazon offer for the Westones are really good, but GR07s are cheaper still. I used to have a GR07 MK1, until it broke a while ago :<- RealSlimSeto

I've heard the Phonak PFE earguides work. If you wear them over-ear there is almost zero microphonics.- RealSlimSeto

I also got the E10 recently. Not a night and day difference, but certainly it helps the transparency a bit with the GR07.- RealSlimSeto

S4 to IEM?
GR07 will have that sub bass you seek. It is present and can be pretty strong when called for but usually polite and non-intrusive.- RealSlimSeto
