Has anyone here tried the PRO 650? How would they compare to, say, the PRO 900?

Portable amp for Beyerdynamic DT770 PRO 80?

The O2 is slightly too big. Anything that's smaller that would power them well?

Portable amp for Beyerdynamic DT770 PRO 80?

Hey guys,   Just bought a pair of Beyerdynamic DT770 PRO 80, but feel that they are a bit underpowered with my Fiio E6. Which portable amp should I buy to drive these out of an iPod Touch? I have the Fiio L9 already and want to spend around $50 max, if that's possible.   Thanks!

Looking for some (very) low budget closed cans for work.

Get the Monoprice 8323!! Amazing headphones for the money! To be honest, I like them more than the M50.

    Audio Technica PRO700MK2 vs M-Audio Q40

Ohh okay. Seems like the Q40 has better sound. Does the Q40 still have solid build quality?

    Audio Technica PRO700MK2 vs M-Audio Q40

Ah okay I understand. What did you like more about the Q40 soundwise?

    Audio Technica PRO700MK2 vs M-Audio Q40

Hey guys,   After lots of searching for the perfect basshead headphone up to $150, I have come to the two headphones in the title (Audio Technica PRO700MK2 and M-Audio Q40). Which one is better overall (sound, build quality etc.) without taking price into consideration?   Thanks!!

    M-Audio Q40 vs Shure SRH750DJ vs Beyerdynamic DT770 PRO 80 vs Ultrasone HFI 580

Great recommendation, but I would prefer a closed back headphone. Thanks though!

    M-Audio Q40 vs Shure SRH750DJ vs Beyerdynamic DT770 PRO 80 vs Ultrasone HFI 580

I cannot worry about my headphones breaking lol. I want something built well. Any other suggestions other than the four im considering?

    M-Audio Q40 vs Shure SRH750DJ vs Beyerdynamic DT770 PRO 80 vs Ultrasone HFI 580

Ah I see. How do the M50 pads compare with the DT770 velour pads?

    M-Audio Q40 vs Shure SRH750DJ vs Beyerdynamic DT770 PRO 80 vs Ultrasone HFI 580

In Canada, the prices of all these headphones are the same, with the the Ultrasones being slightly more expensive. Are there any differences between the stock pads and the M50 pads soundwise? Or is it all comfort?

    M-Audio Q40 vs Shure SRH750DJ vs Beyerdynamic DT770 PRO 80 vs Ultrasone HFI 580

Hey guys,   As mentioned in my last thread, I am looking for a warm headphone with relaxed treble and a great bass response. Which of the four headphones in the title would you recommend? I will be driving the headphones with a Fiio E6 and an iPod Touch. I am looking within the $150-$200 price...

Buying tonight $300 Ultrasone Pro900 vs Denon D600 vs V-Moda M-100 (currently on the lead)

Ahhh that sucks! But if you do find a good audio store, I suggest trying all three even though. What I hear may not be what you hear. I know for a fact that the d600 suits your needs more than the other two. It's a great all rounder imo

Buying tonight $300 Ultrasone Pro900 vs Denon D600 vs V-Moda M-100 (currently on the lead)

I would take the pro900 off your list. They sound very artificial for classical and symphonies. I owned a pair, but sold it because of its recessed midrange and very metallic treble which sounded "off". Bass is fabulous though, best of the three in terms of extension. I auditioned the M100, and...

Headphones To Compliment My Ultrasone PRO 750

    Shure SRH750DJ, M-Audio Q40, Beyerdynamic DT770 or Ultrasone hfi 580?

Headphones To Compliment My Ultrasone PRO 750

I love the 1R, but found them a little too cold in the mids. Maybe it's just me lol They're a little too big, I'm using the headphones outside too

    Ultrasone PRO 750 Treble

I tried that, and it reduces treble, but reduces the amazing detail. For dubstep and all electronic genres, the highs are actually pleasant, and make it a lot fun, but for every other genre, the highs are just really dominating! The only thing I'm thinking of doing it using an EQ to reduce the...

    Ultrasone PRO 750 Treble

Hey guys, I'm having an issue with my pro 750. Bass is amazing, mids are clear, but the treble is excruciating. It's extremely sharp. Whenever I turn up the volume, I have to lower them because of it. It sounds like a piece of glass shattering right next to my ears. Is this normal? Is there...

Headphones To Compliment My Ultrasone PRO 750

Hey guys,   I'm looking for a set of closed headphones to compliment my Ultrasone PRO 750. I am looking at a headphone that's really bassy, like the 750, but a bit tamer in the highs, and warmer overall (less bright). I want to keep my budget under $200, and I have a Fiio E6 amp to drive...
