Carrying Case
The regular 1010's can hold an Ipod touch 2g in the lid. I used to use this to check email around campus and ride the bus to school without worrying about getting caught in the rain with a laptop.- RyanA

knife-fi?
Less into knives these days, though I would like to pick up a nice kitchen knife. I have a spyderco salt 1, para 1, and p'kal. I do miss some of the ones I've sold off. I'm really jonesing to own a protech godfather again. I'd also like to get a decent scandi grind fixed blade with full tang, a...- RyanA

Flashlight-Fi (LED & Conventional)
Some of my favorites are a titanium Quark 123, a modded Surefire L4 (Cree MC-E), a G3 with a WA 1185, and an Aleph 19 with XR-E, Flupic driver and aspheric lens.- RyanA

Whisky (or Whiskey) Fi
I like most types whisky and whiskey. For Scotch I like Glenmorangie, Glenlivet, Balvenie, Glenfiddich and Auchentoshan. For Canadian I prefer Forty Creek. For bourbon I prefer Old Granddad. For rye I prefer Bulleit. I haven't spent much time on Irish whiskey yet so...- RyanA

LED-Fi
I like high output led flashights, mostly Cree powered, XR-E, XP-G XM-L, etc. The new Audi headlights are interesting as well (arrays of Phillips 1w's I believe).- RyanA

MULTI TOOL-FI
I have a crunch. I used it today to hold a piece of metal so I wouldn't burn my fingers while I ground down one end. Check it out in the store. The vise grip feature may seem a bit wonky in comparison to full sized vice grips but they do work well once you clamp them on something.- RyanA

Ubuntu here, I was running vista before and the computer was horribly slow at just about everything. Now it's nice and quick.- RyanA

Watches - another passion of ours, it seems...post your pics!
I've never bothered taking pictures. But I wear a Sinn 556 most days. I like the combination of dial and hands. It also has decent water resistance while not terribly thick, and uses a ubiquitous movement. Other times I wear a cheap Casio hunting/fishing timer with a vibration alarm.- RyanA

I think it's an overall good thing. I doubt other headphone companies will loose too much sleep over market share. There's really no sense in alienating their current market to wrestle with beats for a share of another (which probably wouldn't amount to much since beats is based mostly on brand...- RyanA

AKG K550 - NEW!!
I wonder what the drivers look like. They're somewhat large which is exciting. But is it possible that they might be too large. Too much moving mass could be problematic. It seems like the denon adh 2000's et al, get away with a larger driver with a lighter diaphram material.- RyanA

Focal Spirit One Headphones
They look nice, well built and comfortable. What sort of plug does the jack for the detachable cable accept?- RyanA

Guide on How To Educate Others About Beats
The beats do have some nice features. The build quality seems nice and most the models accept a standard 1/8th jack (I am aware there are disadvantages to this). Though the looks are a bit outlandish to me. Though I am a bit older and would rather not draw that level of attention to myself...- RyanA

KRK KNS-6400 Review - Impressive $99 Giant Killer
Just got a pair of these. I have to say, they're very impressive. Thanks for all the detailed reviews. Does anyone have the coiled cable for these. I was wondering what the approximate unextended length is. Also I'm not sure if I'm in love with the bump type pads. Has anyone tried...- RyanA

Next headphones? k702 or kns 6400 or something else entirely?
Hello, I just recently picked up a pair of AKG 240s and have so far been very pleased. I enjoy the comfort and sound of the headphones. They're much more comfortable than my old MDR-V700's and sound better as well. I listen to mostly classical and folk. Bass is fairly impressive on some songs...- RyanA
