I know you were asking other people but since I have 2 pairs of these headphones in front of me (mine and my friends), they both have the pleather flaking off. There are $8 replacement pads available on Amazon that I bought. They are slightly thicker too which is better for comfort. They didn't...

In white, these are going for $130 on Amazon. You won't find a better and more versatile set of headphones for this price. Hell, at $170 they're still a steal. I replaced some Senn HD600's with these (I think I paid $160) and could not be more happy. I'm surprised these aren't more popular.. it...

Check out the NAD Viso HP50 It reminds me of my HD600 but with more bass and better low extension.

Finally replaced my broken Senn hd 600s with these. I am VERY pleased with my decision. Got them for $160 in red - feels like a steal to me. Hard to imagine anyone would dislike their sound signature (they're like the hd 600s in that way).
