50% is my usual on the iPhone X with the Sine+Cipher. Sometimes up or down 1-2 bars depending on the song.

+1 on the on-ear experience. When I first got the Sine I tucked my ears into the pads and I really liked the sound. When I just put the Sine "On-Ear" as intended, it sounded better and I do not have any comfort issues.

Because I LOVE my Sine with cipher connected to my iPhone/iPod/iPad, I'm contemplating an EL-8 Titanium with cipher. Can I just correct that V-shape with the Audeze app by raising the midrange?

You should confirm with Audeze customer service what the right size connector is for the iSine LX. Otherwise you’ll just have a guessing game going on. For example I read it’s .78mm with a notch.
