Spinning on the rega for once. Adding a good pre amp has made a huge difference to everything here. Can control the tannoy monitors on my desk just out of frame, and has a good phono stage. :). The Elex is on my head in preference to the T1 most of the time now...

Finally got things a bit more sorted out in the new room. Just added the TAG preamp, which is pretty sweet. I really needed something to manage multiple inputs with phono stage, and have line level outputs for headphone amps and a good volume control for the tannoy monitors next to my monitor...

Hah yeah, I can second a decent tower cooler setup is definitely quieter unless you have the space for a 280mm rad. I switched down from a standard atx tower with a tonne of undervolted noctua and noiseblocker fans to an itx case with only space for a 120mm rad AIO and two case fans, so not...

Why can't spotify select output device?

you want spotify and only spotify to point to a separate audio output device? the only thing I can think of is to set up multi-output and mute everything but spotify on the second device.

Audio-gd USB-32 Firmware, Drivers, and Feedback Thread

Hi guys. I have a NFB-1 purchased in June 2014. I was using it on optical, but I want to install the USB drivers. I downloaded the original package they sent me and the drivers report that it has installed, the devices is listed in windows as 'SPDIF Interface' and when it is the active device...

    Can Con Sydney Australia 7.5 - Saturday 11 November 2017 -

Have missed the last few of these I believe. Would love to come. I haven't bought anything new for ages except I bit on a massdrop 6xx. It's meant to arrive around November, so we'll see if it arrives in time or not lol. So probably just my T1, V200, NFB-1 setup. Super keen to finally have a...

Beyerdynamic T90 Discussion and Support Thread

For what it's worth re: above. I currently have Brainwavz Velours on my T1 and Pleathers on my T70 and love them. The velours don't compress nearly as much as the stock beyer pads thus stay comfortable longer and cost far less. The pleathers I replaced just cause the ones on the T70 didn't...

The Official Beyerdynamic T1 Impressions and Discussion Thread

I know the european beyer site has almost all of the separate parts listed as products (http://europe.beyerdynamic.com/shop/hah/spareparts.html?kopfhoerermodell=596) Maybe try contacting the beyer support people where you are and see if they have any spares you can purchase first?

    Universal Disc Players.

Hey guys,   so my dad is replacing all his old stereo gear, and we're trying to figure out a relatively easy to use source setup. He mostly listens to CDs, and I currently have him using Spotify for some extra music.   The stereo is also in the main living area, so the same speakers/amps...

    New Beyerdynamic T1 (2nd Generation)

It's definitely those things... I just thought it sounded too thin when I was listening to anything kinda ambient.  I prefer a less airy amp with airy headphones. The bursons were incredible with the HE-560 though...

    Aussie & NZ Head-Fiers Corner

I heard so many good things about the KEF X300A that can be found for around $1k when I was looking.  Ended up going for something cheaper for a computer speaker though (Tannoy 502s used for a very good price, which ended up being very nice).

    New Beyerdynamic T1 (2nd Generation)

I guess just a slightly warm sounding, high power solid state amp.   Plenty of room to get lots of volume out of a 600 ohm T1 without needing to talk about balanced cables...   In general quite well known around here as a fantastic pairing with the 'brighter' dynamic cans (HD800, T1, etc)
