Looking for portable over the ear headphones for ~$300 or less
The Sony MDR-R1, Sennheiser Momentium, Denon D600, Klipsch Reference M40 and Pro900 are highly recommmended, they all have different soundsignatures but overall soundquality is very good and they are comfy to wear for long sessions.- HFAUDIOPHILE

Best bassy headphones for $150 or less
The Klipsch Image ONE, Sony XB800 are great buy under this budget and they offers crsip clar soundquality with pwerful bass. If you can find V-Moda M80(USED) and they are amazing sounding(deep rich bass, crsip clear mids, highs, fairly wide soundstage).- HFAUDIOPHILE

high end IEM or mid range w/ amp?
The Portapro are already very good sounding pair and if add AMPs/DAC in chain then they will realy improve and i will recommend these AMPs/DAC iBasso D7, ODAC/O2 AMPs, E17 and XM6. My Etymotic ER4s have died, suggest a replacement?
The CK10, R-50, DBA-02 and B2 are very close to ER4S and they shows all hidden details in mids, highs with better bass response.- HFAUDIOPHILE

Sennheiser ie800 vs shure se535 red
The Ie800 price is much higher than Shure SE535 RED (Asia) but both are very good sounding and IE800 are supperior in term of soundquality due to better soundstaging, iamging and separation.- HFAUDIOPHILE

Westone 4 , SE535 or Westone UM3X?
The UM3x are great with guitar based music and they are very detailed with good punchy bass and superb imaging.. Others IEMs like UE900, Sony EX1000, PFE232 and ATH_CK100Pro are also good match for guitars sounding good on these IEMs.- HFAUDIOPHILE

Westone ES5
The ES5 will improve with iMod+AMPs like JDS C421 or Pico Slim and dock cables like ALO 18AWG Pure Cryo or CXS willbe great add in chain to take real benifits of ES5 amazing soundquality. BTW if your music is 320KBPs to 192KBPS and it willbe still sound good with this setup.- HFAUDIOPHILE

Looking for some IEMs with deep bass (<$350)
The JVC FX700 offers really deep reverbing heavy punchy bass and crisp clear mids with extended highs and fairly wide soundstage, IMO FX700 better than UE TF10Pro, W3 in bass region and has overal better soundquality.- HFAUDIOPHILE

Tanglefree cords, no microphonics IEMs

Lost between sennheiser momentums and Westone 4;s help?
I find Momentum are pretty amazing sounding from many DAPs include iPod Classic, Touch and Clip+ without using AMPs and IEMs like W4R will sound thin, less detailed if do direct comparison. I will recommend to buy Meomentum if you find them better sounding than W4R or contact Westone for...- HFAUDIOPHILE
