The control panel which you get access to when you download the usb driver displays sample rates. It has shown me 44.1khz for regular playback. As well as 88.2 for some albums and sometimes 96

What could I be doing wrong then..

not entirely true, you can still get 24/96 even without an mqa dac, just by using tidal's decoding you can achieve this ( i did this with my oppo ha-2se) have you or has anyone else actually seen the current sample rate on the control panel of the amp display 192khz?

Someone said you have to disable the box in settings of mqa passthrough and let the dac do it all..I don't think that's right though unless you have a full decoder. You know of any other albums in 192khz that work in UK?

Unless in my region it's only 96khz when it clearly says 192 in the title of these certain albums. Some people said Norah Jones I believe had 192khz stuff but all played for me in 96.

I'll try it one more time..in firmware it says I have the non C firmware. When the website states the revised firmware is the C version. Maybe that is why? Weird though. I did click the correct one when updating. Let's hope that solves it, although the led turns cyan which is a feature of the...

would the ifi nano idsd black label be a good pairing with these? it has 192/24 mqa capabilities which is the main selling point.

do i need to disable rendering of mqa by tidal in the app or keep it enabled? as with some mqa dac's you have to disable the in app bit

looks like my el-8s wont be arriving after all. and these arent out yet in my country so dunno if i can afford. are these a warm sounding headphone, and hows the bass in quantity compared to el-8? would the bass make me happy on these? i have an oppoa ha2-se amp. and like slightly elevated low end

maybe not, they are saying the item is missing from their warehouse. RIP. cant get these anywhere else now all discontinued, any other warm headphones with nice bass as alternatives?

bought el-8's for £450, but if these come out in the uk for about £600 (i'm hoping) might have to sell the el-8 for these :)
