FiiO M15 Audio Player | Dual AK4499EQ | 7490 mAh Battery | 64 GB ROM | $1299.99
The same thing happened to me a month back. Battery ran down to 0% and right after that it wouldn't charge no matter what cable or charger I used. In the end, with the charging cable still attached, I followed the instruction in the manual and did a forced reboot using Power + Play (did it a...- brofeelgood

SONY IER-Z1R
AUSFF is your answer. A number of us here got ours from A2A during BFCM 2019 and shipped them home via AUSFF. In my case, it was USD1070 for the IEMs + USD65 for the express shipping (3 days to Singapore). Unbeatable.- brofeelgood

Gosh, that's downright mental. Which part of Europe are you at? Have you checked with online shipping services like comgateway or viabox? I just used cgw's live estimate feature and was quoted 27.60 USD for shipping the item to the UK (5-8 days, before tax and duties). From experience, the...- brofeelgood

Sony's New 2014 flagship IEM - XBA Z5
They're listed as available on TREOO's website. The means to contact them is at the bottom of the page, go ahead and reach out to them, they're usually quite responsive. They were also the ones who helped resolve the bad contact on my Z5 MMCX connector that was causing audio cut outs.- brofeelgood

SONY IER-Z1R
I'm 95% certain the XM3 will fail to meet your expectations. I have both, and I can tell you without any hesitation that the IER-Z1R wipes the floor with the XM3. I won't go into the details since you'll soon be auditioning them yourself, but yes the differences are stark. I only reach for the...- brofeelgood

Report: Thread Notification Emails
The new email notifications are a complete waste of bandwidth. The last one I received actually just displayed "...". That's right, a silly and meaningless ellipsis. And the one before that was "[ATTACH type="full"...". Please consider restoring the old format within which something useful was...- brofeelgood

This is one of the rare occasions I'm spending money on something that I haven't got the slightest idea about. And this being the first DD IEM from Etymotic, there's very little information about it anywhere, so I honestly don't know what to expect. I'm hoping for a nice surprise in the bass...- brofeelgood

USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP): 24- and 32-bit playback, ubiquitous USB audio support for Android
Davy, I'm a little puzzled by the Play Next Album/Folder feature and was hoping you could help clarify my doubts. I have my music organised in the following structure (on a MicroSD card): Artist 1 - Album A --- Disc i --- Disc ii - Album B --- Disc i --- Disc ii Artist 2... and so on In UAPP's...- brofeelgood

The newer models are actually easier to drive. But anyway, the ER4S is going for less than $200 on Amazon at the moment. If you loved them before, my advice is 'Don't wait'. I've owned everything in the ER4 series except the B: ER4S, ER4P, ER4PT, ER4XR, ER4SR. I love the ER4S/ER4PT for its...- brofeelgood

Try pulling down the notification shade and toggling the volume modes (the speaker button). It alternates between 'Set volume' <> 'Vibration' <> 'Silent'. I set mine to 'Vibration' mode on long commutes to avoid those notification triggered cut-outs.- brofeelgood

Just took delivery of my fourth pair for Etys (yeah, I know). It's a brand new set of ER4S from Amazon, and it came with everything EXCEPT the channel matching graph. LG V30
Can't help you out there mate. I'm only playing music out of my PC (DFR + Jitterbug), my V30+ and a couple of other mobile devices via DFR. No wait, I also own a Shanling M0, but it uses the same ESS9218+ DAC as the V30+ so there isn't much to say there either, they share a very similar sound...- brofeelgood

LG V30
I have both the ER4S and ER4XR. The V30 drives them with ease. A bit of care is needed with the XR though, because at 45Ω, the high impedance mode gets triggered maybe 1 out of 10 times and these being absurdly deep insertion IEMs, I almost had my eardrums pulverised a couple of times due to my...- brofeelgood

Shanling M0 - Smallest Hi-Res Portable Player - New Firmware V3.6
@Shanling Is it possible to add the option to organise music by 'Album Artist'? These days, there's a lot of collaboration between music performers, and the way some tags are populated, managing by 'Artist' results in songs from the same album appearing under different artist names. Also helps...- brofeelgood
