I have a used pair of LCD-2Fs and I'm not sure. Sorry. However, they do feel like the brand new pair that I bought for my LCD-X, which were also a used pair- Anjolie

Audeze LCD-X
At least for now, I find the LCD-X to be my end game headphone. Although, I’d still like to try out the LCD-3 and the HEK1 V2 just out of curiosity- Anjolie

I do listen to the LCD-X a bit more due to its balance over the LCD-2F, but the 2F just has that wonderful something that is so seductive. I would say the LCD-2F is more fun than the LCD-X, at least to my ears. But I can only have so much "fun" and then I run over to the X- Anjolie

I don't think there's a difference. Like someone had mentioned, if you've got the money...... And as for the Taurus MKII, it definitely does sound a lot better to my ears in balanced mode as opposed to single ended- Anjolie

Audeze LCD-X
I've never heard the Bravo Audio V2, but for $65 USD, I guess it won't hurt most wallets or bank accounts to try it. I tend to do all that I can to research the headphones or gear I'm interested in without hearing them first. It's a very expensive trial and error method, but thankfully it has...- Anjolie

Cool set-up! Surprisingly, my iMac's CD player isn't bad spinning discs. I'm kind of shocked. I'll have to A/B it with my dedicated transport, but off-hand it's pretty close call I hope I haven't offended anyone with that statement *scurries under table*- Anjolie

I've been listening to my LCD-X more than my LCD-2F aluminum and it's a bit heavier and I don't find the weight that uncomfortable. But I have been doing neck exercises to strengthen the muscles and perhaps, my head is of a shape that the clamping isn't all that bad either That's my mutant...- Anjolie

I have them on my LCD-X and they're very comfy. Initially I was worried that the clamping force would not be to my liking and wouldn't be adjustable since it's carbon fiber, but so far so good. Although, depending on the size of your head, YMMV- Anjolie

I never really had a problem with the original headband on my 2F, but when I got my X, it came with the carbon headband. It's lighter and spreads out the weight of the headphones a bit more on top. Plus it looks very nice too. I'm debating whether or not to get it for my 2F I agree. The...- Anjolie
