    Audio-Technica ATH-MSR7 Discussion Thread

Will the MSR7's sound like the ATH-E40's? I really want to find a can with a similar signature and I think this would be my best option.

    LG Quadbeat 3 Impressions Thread

At $20 and $40 respectively, they're really hard to beat. I'll definitely pick them up later on this month! ZST's for the gym and the ZS5's for critical listening! I'll get back to you when I get these! :o2smile:

They have both Dynamic and BA drivers? That's pretty fantastic, they'll definitely be my next investment!

    Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 and Wireless!

My pair make vocals sound fantastic, however, the mid range isn't as well balanced as my 598's.

Shootout: 114 Portable Headphones Reviewed (Xiaomi Mi Headphones added 04/21/2015)

I got the Momentum and they're definitely my favorite portable can! For $249.99 CAD, that was a REALLY good deal! I'll be writing a full review soon, I'm gonna let them burn in on my trip to Montreal! Thanks for the suggestion!

    Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)

The E40's are super great IEM's for the price! You get dual push pull drivers for under $100 dollars!

Unfortunately there's no Momentums on display. I'll probably order the cans from Best Buy, that way I can put it on a payment plan :p If I don't like them, there's not much to lose ahahah :3

Shootout: 114 Portable Headphones Reviewed (Xiaomi Mi Headphones added 04/21/2015)

The treble roll off is kinda scaring me away. But if the sound signature is as smooth as the 598 I'll definitely give it a go. So far, I'm still torn between the HP50's. I'll probably need to compare the two! Thanks for the help!

Shootout: 114 Portable Headphones Reviewed (Xiaomi Mi Headphones added 04/21/2015)

Thanks a bunch Thanks a bunch for your help again! The treble roll off seems to be putting me off at this point, unfortunately. How does the treble of these cans compare to the likes of the HD598? I like the treble detail of the HD598, but it feels a bit rolled off to me.

Are the HP50's sonically better the Momentum 2's? I've been debating between getting one of the above.

    Sennheiser HD1/Momentum 2.0 vs Sony MDR100aap

I might end up pulling the trigger on the HP50's as they're the same price as the M2's/HD1's. I've heard great things about the sound quality, but not so much about the build quality. Would these withstand daily abuse?

    Sennheiser HD1/Momentum 2.0 vs Sony MDR100aap

Thanks for the suggestions! Sadly the MEZE 99 Classics and Oppo PM-3 are out of my budget range unfortunately. $250 CAD is equivalent to $198 USD

    Sennheiser HD1/Momentum 2.0 vs Sony MDR100aap

Probably around $250 CAD. The Momentum 2.0 took a huge drop and it's now sitting at $249.99 CAD. If I can manage next month I wouldn't mind pushing my budget to $300, and I'll probably pull the trigger. Any advice helps!

    Sennheiser HD1/Momentum 2.0 vs Sony MDR100aap

I'll be headed to Montreal at the end of the month and I decided that I could use a new pair of commuter headphones since I can't lug my HD598's around. I'm currently looking for something that's well balanced. Treble detail's important, but definition in the midrange and bass extension is...

Need help on buying a new headphone.

AKG's tend to have very accurate imaging and are known for their analytical sound. I haven't tried the K712's, but I'd love to try them one day!

For gaming, you'll definitely an extended bass range and a vast soundstage. The Fidelio X2's are fantastic and I highly recommend them!

    A Good Gaming Headset

If you're strictly looking for a gaming headset, the HyperX Cloud II are good. If you have the option to do so, I'd suggest you purchase the Sennheiser 598 HD + Antlion Modmic 5 combo.

    Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 and Wireless!

I personally thought the previous gen Momentums sounded great for their ESRP of $300! With all the R&D + materials used, I can't see these being any less cheaper than $350, which is unfortunate :'(

    Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 and Wireless!

Here are some video on this beauty! Already judging from the earcups, I can tell this will probably beat out the MDR 1-R in comfort :O Apparently ANC is really good, but no details on the sound quality. What is the best $100 open headphones ( in Canada please

I would recommend the Shure SRH 440. The sound is relatively well balanced with extra emphasis on the mid range, great for vocals and guitars! The Grado's sound really good too, but if they're bright they might not be your thing. (Be warned, some SRH440's can be bright, so it's kind of a gamble)...
