am i the only one who find your problem, NOT a problem? why not rotate the earpads? why not stretch the inside? NOT all earpads are the same, kinda like beyer velour earpads, they dont have the same shape, but they fit on circular ear cups.

i dont know about you guys, but the further away your ears from the driver, the worse the sound it gets, though more soundstage! for me it's overly bright and lacking extension on both ends.  

i have AD2000x, after long usage, the earpads is pretty comfy if you keep stretching daily.
