Depending on your taste, i would prefer the Sabre chip with a good amp any day for a portable setup

Hi guys, mine wont update library or scan when the 2 cards are there. With 1 it works perfect with 2 nothing Any idea what to do. Songs are less then 20k. And its a 200 + 128 gb so that not so much either. Help help

OK tried the new X7 II, sounds great, but in single ended. Balanced had way too much bass, and nothing special. Dont know why.

Got mine today, sounds good. Any burn in period ? and changes ?

Possible to just desolder the cable of the Fostex Th-X00 and put the Claire HPC mk 2 terminated to 2.5mm balanced ? + an adapter for 2.5mm female to 3.5mm male would have done it myself but short of time.

bought it yesterday, the extra card slot and the good reviews & coming form the Sabre 9018 did it for me, and maybe replacing the battery after 2 years would be possible here but for sure not in the AK
