Beyerdynamic T51i comfort issues
I have the Beyerdynamic T51i. I love the sound, the looks, etc. However, I can't stand the pain on my ears after a couple of hours of use. I've seen that the much more common DT 1350 face the same issue, as they seem to be pretty similar in design. On that regard, I read on this same forum that...- iRock1

I have over 10,000. Around 10,600 if I'm not mistaken. However, I seriously doubt that has something to do with the problem. If that was the case, why converting mp3 to aac solves it? (consider that that means keeping the amount of tracks on the library exactly the same)- iRock1

Hi, Please excuse the wall of text, but it’s important to clarify the nightmare I’ve been going through for years. Because, yes, I’ve been having this problem since years ago. It turns out that the playback of some songs on my iPod stops near the end (the timestamp is relative, sometimes it...- iRock1

Hey guys, Long time ago I started experiencing this weird issue where a very thin (1px wide I guess) horizontal line would appear on my display. It started as a very short, small line (I’d say as long as the battery icon), and then as time would pass the line would grow longer and longer. At...- iRock1

I love the simple UI of the stock firmware, which is why I haven't made the jump to Rockbox. Also, I think jumping out from iTunes at this point would be way too much effort. Btw, in case anyone else is suffering the consequences of this nasty bug and don't want to get rid of their "Work" info...- iRock1

Well, at least I've just discovered that the two issues I mentioned I was having ARE NOT RELATED. In fact, one of them is, as suspected, a problem not in the flash card nor the iPod, but in that increasing pile of bugs that is iTunes. The tracks that are syncing over and over again are those...- iRock1

Well, I'm not using the stock hard drive. I have Tarkan's mod and a 128 GB flash card. I don't think it might be a problem of corrupt tracks though. If that was the case they would present issues as well on iTunes or being played on other apps, not to mention that, as you notice, if I create an...- iRock1

Hey guys, I have a couple of very weird issues with my iPod 5G which I was hoping you could help me to solve out (not sure if they are related): 1. Every time I connect my iPod to my MacBook, iTunes syncs a certain group of tracks, even if there’s been zero changes from last sync. I’ve even...- iRock1

I was reading this guide on the different batteries and required backplates for each one. I was wondering, how different in size are the iFlash-Quad and the iFlash-CF? I ask because according to that table, the thin backplate is good enough for a 2000 mAh battery if using the iFlash-Quad but...- iRock1

I mean, the iPod worked perfectly fine for some time and got that thing on the screen from one moment to another. Also, notice that at first the straight line was quite short, but after a few weeks it extended to cover almost half of the screen.- iRock1

Hi, I think I have some dead pixels on my screen. It's weird though, because all of them are aligned so I have this straight horizontal line in the middle of the display. Right now my iPod is dead though, so I can't take pictures. Do you think it could be something else? (So I can order all...- iRock1

Thanks all for commenting. Truth is I don't know what else to do at this point, since everything seems to be its right place. Do new batteries come with their own ribbon? If that's the case perhaps I could try installing a new one (the old one was pretty faulty anyway).- iRock1

Hi, guys, The other day I opened up my iPod 5.5G. However, I think I might have messed up something. Hi, I have a 5.5G iPod Video (thin) which I've already modded by replacing its hard drive with a flash card (using Tarkan's adaptor). On the other hand, a friend of mine has a 6G/7G iPod Classic (not sure which one) with a broken hard drive and a faulty battery. I was thinking of changing the...- iRock1

Hi all, Thanks for your feedback on the skipped songs issue. It looks like the problem is not on the SD card though, but on the software side, just like @iMig said. Please see: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7249051 That's what I suspected since the beginning, and why I was kind of...- iRock1
